About the band:
Dobbs’ live performances are renowned for their exploratory nature, a style that he says he owes humbly and heavily to Medeski, Scofield, Martin, & Wood (MSMW). On 5/27/23 Josh Dobbs, and members of Dopapod: Rob Compa, Chuck Jones, & Neal (Fro) Evans, will pay debt to the kings of avant-groove. The show promises to be a very special night, celebrating the love and trust of improvisation through the eyes and hearts of these musicians, and some of their biggest influences.
